Annually, we hire for 3 key seasonal sessions per year:

• Lifting - September through January

• Cuttings - January/February

• Thinning -March through June

We are currently hiring for our Lifting season.

DUTIES:

Seedling harvest duties help prepare our crop for shipping and are performed indoors. This may include work on the lifting line such as grading, stacking and wrapping bundles, and boxing. Other tasks may include retrieving the crop from the greenhouses and loading boxes onto trucks as well as cleaning the work areas and growing containers for future use.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Respect company safe work procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE (non-slip footwear), and willingness to participate safe work rotations.

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

• A positive attitude generally and toward work; good interpersonal skills, respectful behavior, willingness to follow directions; positive work ethic; and a desire to produce quality products

• Ability to follow proper crop handling procedures as directed

Generally, there is no experience necessary – we will give you all of the on-site safety and job training needed (yes, it is a lot!). We offer flexible shifts during some seasons as well as modified piece rate for cuttings and thinning. You get the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team and there is always more to learn if you are interested.

Plus, you can get through a lot of albums, podcasts or audiobooks (as long as you can hear your supervisor out of one ear!)

HOURS: Monday to Friday 7:30-5:00 with optional overtime to 7:15.

PAY: Starting at $18.25/hr with scheduled increase after 600 hours worked. Year end bonus based on hours worked.
